We think you’ll find Clearview to be a uniquely friendly township set on rich low-lying land on what was, 11,000 years ago, the shore of the great Algonquin Lake, just below the brow of the magnificent Niagara Escarpment.

We hope you’ll find Clearview more than just a place to pass through. If you don’t stop, you’re missing the chance to experience the character of the people in the community.

Our stores and shops are largely independently-owned small businesses where the person who greets you at the door is likely also the cashier, the service manager, the complaints department and the owner.

Stayner is the heart of the municipality known as Clearview Township covering 557 square kilometers of unusual and fascinating geography including the Niagara Escarpment, the Minesing Swamp and the tributaries feeding into Nottawasaga River and Nottawasaga Bay.
